Electronic and/or Print Resources

You can increase your awareness of what's new on the Web by regularly reading electronic and/or print "collection development" sources.

Magazines

I have found that the journals, like the Web they write about, are constantly changing and evolving. Don't be surprised if your favorite review journal suddenly stops rating sites and starts covering business on the Web.

Luckily there always seems to be something new springing up to fill the void.

My current favorite print resource is:

  • Net Happenings
    New sites of interest to K-12 educators, with annotations and links, are posted daily. The archives go back to June, 2000 and are searchable by subject. You can receive this daily list as email, but be prepared for a very full in-box.
